We had a great time at The Crossroads Market doing some filming and photography. At one point we were showcasing the syrups and Duane wanted to make sure that the Saskatoon Syrup was mentioned, only we didn’t have a bottle of it available, so brilliantly they found a saskatoon label and put it on the chokecherry syrup as a prop. The only problem was that Duane was going off the cuff and read the bottle.
We’ll get you the video clip, it was great!
Check out the Facebook page and we might just have it posted there first.
Have a very Merry Christmas! And remember to laugh!
This month’s blooper comes to you from the “We just had to take a picture of Duane looking like he does” file.
Somehow Debbie always looks fabulous, Duane tries to imitate her, and it just comes out all…Duane. There’s just no other way to say it.
On the plus side, the flowers were gorgeous this year, the farm had bumper crops and a ton of food made for a ton of happy visitors and shoppers alike. Getting all dressed up like this to sort berries, make delicious food or just trying to look cool and fit in with the bikers is some of the daily antics at the farm.
Deb and Duane had a blast this summer and if you made it out there, our deepest gratitude and we hope you had fun too! If you didn’t make it out, plan on it for next year because we’ve got some amazing plans to keep you and yours well entertained!
Oh ya! And, be sure to go to our Facebook page, like and follow us! And let others know how much fun you had!
Ok, maybe it’s not as bad as Ritchie Valens’ plane going down, but there were a lot of young girls crying and yes some full grown men.
Unfortunately, there were no reporters on the scene when this tragedy happened so we’re just going to have to wait for the investigation. Reports have come in that it wasn’t a completely fatal crash though, most of the butter tart mix survived and we’re looking forward to hearing about how excited the survivors were and where they’re going to reside to live out their week-long lives.
By the way, if there’s a delay in the delivery of your butter tarts it’s only because we had to shut down and clean the place from the butter tart mix flood.
And, of course, I’m kidding. 😉
Bloopers happen to the best of us and by the best, of course, I mean us! Kidding!
Well, bloopers do happen to us, in fact, they happen all the time. But, we’re humble in our errors, it’s just that our web editor loves laughing
at with us, so you get to join in the laughter and sometimes even the tears. Yes, because you have to know that all that spilled milk or whatever it happens to be, goes to the garbage, or maybe the cats… cats like spilled milk…we just don’t happen to have any of them. Cats, that is.
So if you happen to have any bloopers that you’d like to share with us, PLEASE DO!!! We love them as much as you do! And, sometimes it’s just nice to have a shoulder to cry on and we too feel your sorrow.
Oh, by the way, sed non ante ultimum, means first but not last…at least according to google translate… because we’re pretty sure this will be a solid monthly article.
